At Blackbrook Kitchens our objective is fundamentally to do a great job.
We come up with kitchen designs that stem from careful consideration of your lifestyle and day-to-day-needs, married with a clear understanding of your style preferences, whims and any future events that could influence the design. Creating a kitchen is at first glance a straight forward step by step process… Assess the space you have to work with, consider what appliances and fixturing you need, fit said items into the space, decide on colours, finishes and details…. and job done. But there’s a lot more to creating a beautiful, multifunctional, space optimising, light, bright, efficient and hardwearing kitchen than you’d first think. Especially if you want one that will make you smile every time you step into it.

With Blackbrook Kitchens, we’re with you every step of the way. Here to hear your ideas and requirements, and to drill down into what your lifestyle means in terms of appliances, finishes and features. Then we’ll carefully create a kitchen concept design which will take everything into consideration from the ideal cabinet formation, to maximising flow, optimising lighting and deciding which finishing touches will bring your kitchen to life and make it your own.

We always offer a free no-obligation initial design consultation so you can brief us fully and ensure you’re happy to proceed. Embarking on a kitchen re-design can be a major upheaval (even if it’s carried out as swiftly and efficiently as we do it) so we always discuss the process and make sure you know exactly what’s involved. Following the consultation, if you want to hold off a while or think further - that’s completely fine by us. We’d much rather you were fully bought in and keen so we know that the design we create will eventually come to fruition, rather than you being unsure and thinking you’re humouring us by letting us get your designs done whilst you’re looking at other options.
We know that a new kitchen is a big decision so we’re always very comfortable with the idea that it can take a while to commit.
We don’t believe in giving it the ‘hard sell’ so you won’t find us harassing you. In return, we just ask that you’re honest about what you’re expecting and whether you’re happy with the plan. That way, we can get the best results possible, without any confusion or disappointment. Then once you’ve given us the thumbs up - it’ll be full steam ahead.
Just taking out your old kitchen can be a big (and pretty messy) task and then there may be extensive plumbing and re-wiring to contend with. You may want Velux windows adding, infinity doors installing or a dividing wall taken out (which can be a challenge) then filling, plastering and prepping can take a good few days. Laying flooring and installing carcasses is next, followed by worktop, cabinet doors and all your switches and appliances.
Once you’re on the home straight, getting tiled areas sorted can happen, plus lighting, accessories and finishing touches. With Blackbrook Kitchens involved, you don’t need to worry about any of that - or the work schedule, getting the right people for the job, the quality of workmanship, the finishing and snagging… or anything else for that matter!
